Caroline Astiago* is an English-Italian author and playwright based in the UK. Drawn to the supernatural, European myths, and rich historical themes, she weaves these inspirations into both stage productions and prose.

With nearly two decades working in theatre and TV, Caroline’s storytelling carries the depth and drama of a seasoned performer. Her debut novel Somewhere Out There is an adult urban fantasy rooted in Arthurian legend and infused with Norse and Greek mythology.

Equal parts horror, humour, and supernatural intrigue, the story dives deep into identity, betrayal, loss, found family, and LGBTQ+ narratives. The final book in the series will be released in late 2026. Caroline's plays have been included in Liverpool Royal Court's new writing nights and she is working on a series of folklore travel guides.
